You Won’t Recognize Timothée Chalamet: His Shocking Transformation for a 1950s Biopic!

Timothée Chalamet looked unrecognisable with a mustache and slicked-back hair as he transformed into a 1950s ping-pong player Marty Reisman in a new biopic.

The Dune actor, 28, returned to his childhood home in the Big Apple as he was sighted on Wednesday looking worlds away from his usual trendy self as he shot the upcoming film, which is called Marty Supreme.

For the tense-looking scenes, Timothée, who stars as late ping-pong player Marty, turned back time once again in a brown pin-striped suit.

His two-piece featured a double-breasted blazer with oversized lapels, which he layered over an off-white shirt.

Adding a pop of colour, the Wonka star was the epitome of 1950s chic as he accessorised with a pale blue skinny tie and some circular glasses.

In the scenes, Timothée was seen stepping out of an iconic glossy black Hudson Hornet, which can now be sold at auction for up to £100,000.

Soon after, the Call Me By Your Name actor—who recently transformed into Bob Dylan — was spotted screaming in to the car window while it was being driven away.

He then continued his rampage down the streets of New York while he angrily clenched his fists outside a theatre hall.

The new Josh Safdie picture is a project set within the ping-pong culture of the 1950s.

Leading actor Timothée stars alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler the Creator and magician Penn Jillette.

The plot for the new film has not been official released and IMDB states that the ‘plot is under wraps’.

But it is believed to be a ‘fictionalised original, rather than a biopic’ on Marty’s life.

Marty, who died aged 82 in 2012, was an American ping pong icon, winning the 1958 and 1960 U.S. Men’s singles champion and the 1997 U.S. hardbat champion.

The star is currently dating Kylie Jenner, 27 – and it has been recently claimed the reality star wanted to keep her romance with the actor out of the public eye.
