As the Azerbaijan Grand Prix approaches, Max Verstappen has made a surprising revelation about his main goal for the race. Following a challenging outing at Monza, the Red Bull Racing star is focused on one key objective—getting back into top form.
Speaking ahead of the race, Verstappen stated, “I have been back in the factory with the team this week and on the sim ahead of the double header. Monza was a tough race, and our priority is to get our form back to where it needs to be.” He highlighted the team’s determination, adding, “We always want to be more competitive, and the team has been working hard to improve the issues we have been seeing with the car from the past few races.”
Verstappen also expressed his excitement about returning to Baku, saying, “It is always a good challenge coming here, being a street circuit with long straights. We’re ready to get back racing and see what the weekend brings.”
The Dutch driver is clearly determined to bounce back and prove why he remains one of the top competitors in Formula 1.
