In chapter #1122 of One Piece, amidst the worldwide announcement by Vegapunk, Caribou was begging Catrina Devon and Van Augr to let him talk to Blackbeard, as he had important information he’d be interested in.

Although the two were hesitant, Blackbeard was willing to give him an audience and would kill him if the information wasn’t important. This is a game-changer move as Caribou is about to reveal the whereabouts of an Ancient Weapon, putting two islands in grave danger.

Caribou was an unexpected character in Wano, and fans had no idea what Oda was planning to do with him, but this twist in events could lead to a huge power upset. Given how power-hungry Blackbeard is, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he will launch an attack on the two islands.
