A member gave a straightforward answer to the suspicion that BLACKPINK will disband.
Recently, Lisa (BLACKPINK) had an interview with the American magazine ELLE and attracted attention with the latest series of published photos. In it, the author of the article mentioned that BLACKPINK fans are worried that the members pursuing solo careers means the group will disband.
However, Lisa gave a straightforward response: “Of course we will continue, of course. We are very proud of BLACKPINK and I love BLACKPINK. Not only for the fans but also for ourselves.” Lisa then responded in Korean: “Without a doubt. That is our life.”

Also in an interview with ELLE, when asked about the precious experience with BLACKPINK , Lisa said: “It was last year’s tour with my girls. I love shopping and I love good food. So, you know, I always tell them to go out and have a delicious dinner. We travel everywhere, spend great time together. There are happy and sad times together. I really enjoy those moments.”

Not only that, when asked about the BLACKPINK member who always gives the best advice, Lisa shared: “It’s so difficult. I think all the members. They are very different but they all know how to listen. And they always give me the best advice.” Lisa also humorously answered when asked if she was a good advice giver: “I don’t think so (laughs)”.

Previously, on August 8, BLACKPINK celebrated their 8th debut anniversary. This was a rare opportunity for fans to witness the moment when the 4 members gathered together after a long time. After finishing 3 series of events in 2 consecutive days, the fan community humorously sent BLACKPINK a farewell with the words: “Goodbye. See you next year”.
The reason is said to be because fans believe that after the 8th anniversary of their debut, it will be difficult to see BLACKPINK meet in the near future. However, last July, Yang Hyun Suk – CEO of YG revealed that BLACKPINK’s comeback as well as the world tour will be held in 2025. With the sharing from YG as well as Lisa, the BLINK community can completely believe that the group will continue to be active again and soon comeback next year.
