Verónica Castro, aged 71, is reported to be in critical health, with concerns raised by her family regarding her condition.
Her brother, Marcos Valdés, revealed that she is experiencing severe pain from past injuries, including a serious accident in 2004 that left her with titanium implants in her spine.
Despite her health struggles, Castro has made recent public appearances, including a participation as a godmother for a television program and plans to attend her son Cristian Castro’s concert in February.
