Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna‘s daughter may have launched her own Instagram account, but her parents are putting up a fight, according to sources, who claim the exes are ready to do battle against any plans his famous family may have for thrusting her into the limelight.
Dream became the latest Kardashian offspring to join social media this week, just days before she made an impressive runway debut, aged seven, at New York Fashion Week.
But Rob, 37, is desperate to prevent his only daughter from following his famous sisters and their children into the spotlight, and is ‘adamant that she does not become a cash cow.’
‘Rob has seen what happened to his sisters as a result of fame and he will be damned if he lets the same thing happen to his daughter,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.

‘Because Dream is the only grandchild with the Kardashian las name, there are expectations that she is going to be a central part of their continued empire.’
They said that Rob has tried hard to ‘shelter her from the limelight,’ adding that he is ‘very adamant that she not become a cash cow or become money-hungry and self-centered.’
Dream walked the runway for Zeus And Lexi Kids last week, modelling a pair of denim jeans and a black and white jacket.
Rob was ‘hesitant’ about her participation, but agreed as he knew how important it was to his family.
‘He was hesitant for the fashion show but he complied and allowed her to do this because it was important to his family,’ the insider continued.
‘But this also showed him that there seems to be a plan in place to make Dream into a cookie cutter Kardashian clone and he does not want that for his daughter.’
Blac Chyna, 36, who now goes by her birth name Angela White, is in complete agreement with her former fiancé having been through a recent transformation.
‘Blac Chyna is on the same page,’ the source added. ‘She went through such a transformation to become her true self again and she prefers that Dream not be pushed to be a Kardashian figurehead.’
Over the years, she has battled with the family on a legal front and through a war of words on social media.

However, while they have all called a truce for the sake of Dream, the source claimed that Chyna would not be willing to let her daughter become a ‘pawn’ in the Kardashian media game.
The insider continued: ‘She has had so many issues with the Kardashian clan and she is even more set in stone on this than Rob. She got out of that vibe a long time ago and it took her a very long time to heal from all of it.
‘If they think that Dream will be used as a pawn in their plan to remain a Dynasty, they can dream on.’
Dream’s Instagram account was first launched by her parents back in 2016 when she was born, but the first post was published last Friday.
In the clip, Dream faced the camera and cheerfully told fans: ‘Hi! My name is Dream, and welcome to my new page!’
Her father was among the first to comment as he wrote, ‘I love you,’ followed by a string of heart and crying emojis.
Dream’s Instagram – which is ‘run by parents’ according to the bio – has garnered more than 680,000 followers to date.
Back in 2022, it first became clear that momager extraordinaire Kris Jenner seemed ready to turn her attention to the next generation of Kardashians when she starred opposite Dream in an advert for the Amazon Glow system.
Dream isn’t the only one of Kris’ grandchildren to start making a name for themselves.

Kim Kardashian’s first born daughter, North West – whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West – made her catwalk debut at the age of five in 2018 in a LOL Surprise! fashion show in Los Angeles.
North, now 11, has since performed alongside her rapper father during the Yeezy Season eight Paris Fashion Week show in 2020, and has also performed on stage with him several times.
