A pregnant woman, three months along, called for help at 6 AM, whispering, “Please send help, he tried to kill me,” after being attacked by her boyfriend.
The woman was hiding in her children’s bedroom, having been strangled twice and unable to speak loudly due to injuries.
Officers detained the suspect within five minutes of the call, based on the woman’s description, allowing her to safely exit and meet law enforcement.
